Kaga-Yuzen is a technique for hand-painting ‘Kimonos’, Japanese traditional closes.

Nagamachi Yuzenkan is a Kaga-Yuzen workshop run by Chikou,founded in the early Edo period (approx. 200 years ago). You can see various Kaga-Yuzen kimonos and crafts exhibited by Kaga-Yuzen designer, Ikkou Teranishi, the 7th master, and experience authentic coloring. Here, we also introduce information about Kaga-Yuzen and the workshop.
